“Do not miss breakfast here!”
Reviewed November 13, 2012 via mobile

The view is breathtaking as you sit and sip guava juice, like no other on the island, and enjoy a nice hearty breakfast. The buffet has everything you could ask for from fruit to pastries to old fashioned breakfast items. Chef is standing by to prepare omlets or eggs to your liking. So go sit enjoy the morning as you leisurely eat and watch the waves come ashore. This is an experience not to be missed in Hono. PS it is pricey!!!!

The food was very good. The service was typical Halekulani even though this is there casual restaurant - crisp, attentive and highly professional.

This restaurnt in a historic hotel lived up to its reputation for good food, good drink, nightly music and the most incredible sunsets. We recommend arriving early to get a good table for watching the sunset.

“Great for breakfast, cocktails and dinner”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

House Without a Key had three different identities for us, all of them wonderful.
The breakfast buffet is awesome. The selection is extensive. The food is way above average for hotel restaurant buffets. The staff keeps the food changing so it is always fresh. No matter what your breakfast style is, the buffet has selections to meet your taste. The fruit and pastries were excellent.
For evening cocktails, the setting is magnificent. We watched several sunsets over the ocean as we imbibed and dined. The MaiTai's are excellent. The bands are a good complement. Usually, music entertainment for the cocktail hour wants to take over as the main event. But here, they were just right. You could converse without shouting. Yet, the music was a wonderful accompaniment. The Hula entertainment was elegant. Very graceful, communicating well the emotions of the dance.
For dinner, House Without a Key kept the view and high level of service. The food was outstanding.
