The old 12th Avenue Grill wasn't on 12th Avenue. We loved the intimacy, the openness, and feeling like we had discovered a hidden treasure. Yes, we knew it could get crowded, and the waits, even with a reservation, could be a bit long. The new location is much larger and gives the restaurant an honest name -- it's on 12th now. The food was still yummy, and the service just fine. The intimacy is gone, but there's a good selection of by-the-glass wines, and we were able to get a table without having a reservation or a wait. I had a really good burger with brie and a roasted peach, and my dining companion enjoyed his all-time favorite: the pork chop.
