the fact that you have to stand in line to get in is actually a great sign! Its worth the wait, decent priced, generous portions, well cooked good tasting food, they seated our large group in a reletively short time. It was a blessing to find this good place to eat, WAY cheaper than anything at the HHV and right across the street from it. Good coffee, good service, no complaints at all.

Great food, diner feel! Our family got quick service and had a good meal on Christmas. Close to Aqua Palms and Hilton Hawaiian Village and a staple in Waikiki Beach.

Ate breakfast here every day of our 4 day stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (opposite) in Honolulu.

The breakfasts at the Hilton were very expensive and many guests were grumbling about the long waits and poor food quality.

The Wailana Coffee House is a wee treasure and it's open 24/7! The food is perfect for breakfast or lunch with a huge, if basic, menu.

The pancakes and French toast were brilliant and your coffee cup is constantly refilled. The kids enjoyed waffles and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the huge portions and quality of food.

Nothing fancy but clean with honest, good home cooking! Highly recommended.

Located across the street from the HHV, Wailana Coffee House serves some "down home" breakfasts with a little tropical flair. It was quite refreshing to find a place that the prices were more in line with what I was used to paying back home. Even though if is titled a coffee house, they have quite an extensive menu that is very fairly priced for all types of tastes. I will definitely go there again and again and again!!

After visiting Honolulu many times in the past 30 years we finally found ourselves within easy walking distance to the Wailana Coffee House for breakfast. The WCH is across from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ilikai and Discovery Bay; plus on several bus and trolley routes. We were seated & served coffee promptly. My spam and eggs were prepared to order, generous and tasty; my husband's coconut pancakes were huge and scrumptious. There is nothing fancy here, but the food, service and value is excellent.
