Not particularly Italian— but the crêpes and tomato bisque soup make a nice change of pace from the usual hotel breakfast in Honolulu. Refillable coffee is available à la carte. You need not choose the whole juice-coffee-yoghurt buffet.

It is easier and less noisy to get an inside table. Service is very agreeable and very polite. The newer Beach Walk branch at the other end of Waikiki may be more authentic for full-scale wining/ dining.

Beware the Marriott's validated valet parking charge of $12. Walk instead!

Service: We randomly strolled into this restaurant looking for a place to have breakfast. We only had to wait about 5 min before we were seated out on the patio at our request. The service was absolutely top-notch, from the host that took down our name to the other wait staff to our server - they were so friendly, attentive and professional.

Atmosphere: The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the restaurant had a very classy feel to it minus any stuck-up vibes that some high-end restaurants can give you.

Value and quality: I ordered the prosciutto, arugula, & tomato hot crepe with the yogurt with fruit. The crepe and yogurt was delicious and so beautifully plated. In terms of the value, the crepe was $10.95US and the yogurt was $3.95US so very reasonably priced. However, where they get you is the $5.96 all-you-can-drink. In most breakfast places you order a cup of coffee and refills are free. Here though we did not get an option to order drinks a la carte. So, my husband and I together paid $12US excluding tax for our coffee and juice. You do have to get up and pick up your own drink from the drinks station which I didn't mind.

We liked the food here so much we took some on the plane. The first time we ate here there was a long wait, so we grabbed an open spot at the bar which serves the same menu. We ordered the prosciutto and arugula salad and the spaghetti and meatballs.

Before our meal came out they brought some of their house-made focaccia bread with oil and Balsamic vinegar. The bread was warm, fluffy and flavorful even without the oil and vinegar. The salad was tasty with just the right amount of dressing but could use another piece or two of prosciutto. The spaghetti and meatballs looked (and tasted) like the perfect little plate of pasta.

The service was interesting. I believe at one point there were 5 people just standing in the front to greet customers. Considering the service was a little slow, it seems a few of those people could have been put to better use. I will say that the bartender was the only person with any sense of urgency. He was attentive and made drinks at an impressive speed.

Overall, I think you would be better off taking the food to go and eating on the beach but the food is definitely worth experiencing!

This place always had a wait, so of course I had to try it! Went for dinner and sat at the bar, where miraculously two seats opened up. We had the eggplant appetizer that was excellent. It was a large portion. We then ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the seafood ravioli. Both entrees were very very good. However my seafood ravioli was a smaller portion than the appetizer?! Though it was a good potion, the visual perception leaves one to feel they are missing out. The wine by the glass list is limited, but the wines offered were very good. As a bonus for all beer lovers - there's Peroni on draft! On a future trip I will make a point of visiting for breakfast in addition to returning for dinner.

The food was very good, despite the fact that I am a big critic of true Italian food. Appetizer of clams were very well made although spicier than I can handle. The black linguini was made with real squid in sauce, as opposed to pasta colored black with squid ink. Kids pizza was very pale but the didn't complain. The wait was painfully long, especially for the kids so definitely make reservations.
