“Great buffet on sat night”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

we enjoyed the poke, sushi, hand rolls, and even had some prime rib even thought mostly we are vegetarians. They have king crab legs too. Deal for $50pp. My 5 yr old son enjoyed the hand rolls, and the fish soup you prep yourself with flaked salmon, rice, onions and broth. Yum desserts too. Enjoy! A deal with kids eat free, otherwise it gets expensive.

“The lunch buffet was popular, but we ordered ala carte & did well”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

The staff was confused as we had been given the August menu (the next day), but they quickly recovered and honored our requests. We had handroll sushi appetizers that were terrific. We would almost do the buffet just to eat the handrolls. I had a blackened Mahimahi sandwich. The fish could have been cooked less, but it was still an excellent sandwich. My wife had the Ahi on soba noodles. The soba was great, but the ahi was thin and slightly overcooked. All in all a nice lunch overlooking the water. Although the lunch buffet was popular we didn’t think it looked that great- mainly a large selection of cold salads (macaroni, potato, carrot, etc.) that looked pretty boring.

“Pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

First of all, we are not keen on buffet but we went there for lunch due to the great reviews I read on this site. Well, we were not disappointed. This restaurant is within walking distance of Hilton Hawaiian Village. It has a great view of the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. Service was excellent and it has both American and Asian food. For lunch, they have hand-rolled sushi, sliced beef (very tender) which you prepared in a hot pot yourself, fried chicken filet, beef dip, grilled mahi mahi, tempura, seafood pasta, cook-it-yourself ramen station, plus different kind of salads and desserts. All food were very tasty and fresh. One of the nicest buffets we have in years. Very good value in Waikiki. We would go again with no hesitation. If you are staying in Hilton Hawaiian Village, use the back route along the Marina (Holomoana). It's a quieter street. Senior rates available Mon-Thu for anyone over 50.

Buffet breakfast of plenty but poorly presented, nothing was fresh-for 23 dollars you can have better selection at the Food Court at Ala Moana Mall.
