“Who doesnt like a Red Lobster now and then?”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

We have eaten at this Red Lobster on numerous occasions. It has never disappointed. I think this franchise is consistently good nationwide. There is something about a seaside seafood restaurant like this one though, It has the distinct advantage to being on the water. You could throw a Crab into the water from the back door. It is very touristy and always full, but come on, its a Red Lobster in Ala Moana. What else could you expect? The setting can be deceiving in that it is a seafood restaurant on the ocean, but if you are there at the right time of day, it isn't at all unusual to witness a delivery of frozen mainland seafood being unloaded. No big surprise there. Of course that is the way things work, just one of those observations that take away from the experience if only momentarily. Good food. Never had any issues with the staff. Will certainly be back.

“Best Fish meal I had in Hawaii”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

I got the catch of the day which was Ahi Tuna, and it was fantastic. This restaurant is probably the best Red Lobster you will ever have the chance to eat in. No big surprise there as the fresh fish market is only 3 or 4 blocks away.

“good.”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

It was very good and not busy at all. It was just as good as any other Red Lobster that I know of. Nice that it was in walking distance from our condo.

“Average experience”
Reviewed March 5, 2014 via mobile

Went for dinner with family and expected something of the main land yet was a bit outdated and too relaxed. Or maybe simply lazy. The service was slow and took over 10 minutes for the waitress to come. The food was more like preoccupied taste and feel. Nothing truly fresh. Better experiences for seafood on Oahu for sure.

“Enjoyable and good value”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Had been keen to go to this place on last few visits to Waikiki. There is usually a wait to get in. The menu is so vast (especially since it was lobsterfest the week we went) that it takes a while to actually decide what to order. Husband ordered surf and turf. Lobster was good, steak not cooked perfectly and he was stuffed when finished. His meal also came with mash and green beans. I ordered the lobster and pasta plate. The Maine lobster was really nice, but the ornate lobster was not so nice. Pasta was good but not top notch. Children's meal of broiled fish with broccoli was good. Enjoyed going here and would return but standard of food was more like a diner/steakhouse but with lots of seafood rather than a top notch seafood restaurant.
