“Hidden in Kaimuki”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

We had an excellent meal, hot and cold running waiters, and a very good bottle of wine at this restaurant. You could walk right past and not notice anything. The price was reasonable for the price fixe menu with several good choices and upgrades. A friend recommended that we start with one of our desserts as an appetizer: the cheese plate. Then we still had two appetizers, two entrees, and a last dessert to share. We so enjoyed this evening!

“Cafe Miro”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

Loved the experience there. My friend and I chose the prix fixe menu and chose the appetizer and dessert samplers. Everything was wonderful. I had the fish and lamb chops for my entrees and my friend had the scallops and duck and all were excellent. I was ready to go back the next day.

“Something different”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

We enjoyed a very good if somewhat pricey meal at this interesting, eclectically decorated neighborhood restaurant, which serves French/fusion dishes with a distinct Japanese influence. Interesting and tasty, in most cases.

Our server was extremely friendly and eager to explain the cuisine. Indeed, his eagerness to speak with the delivery of each course was right on the brink of being intrusive, mitigated by his obviously sincere pride in the food.

“excellent choice for that special occasion”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

have eaten here four or five times over the past several years. menu consists of 2 options: 3 course pre fixe ( around $40.), or 4 course chef's specials ( around $50). everything is delicious, and beautifully prepared.
large portions, lots of variety. obligatory amuse bouche was a course by itself. loved the opah grilled in brown butter. one of the best duck confit that i have ever had. choice of cheese or sampler platter for dessert.

very responsive service.

wine list is small, but i was bring my own ( $ 20 corkage fee).

classic french with a japanese twist.

will definitely return.

“Great Gourmet Secret Jewel”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

If you love Asian Fusion, this restaurant is well worth the trip out of Waikiki. The blends of Asian flavors and European ingredients combine to give you a truly unique culinary experience. The menu is large enough to give you choices that are balanced between seafood, chicken and steak selections. In addition there are a lot of specials and surprises.
Great, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Most of whom have been at this same restaurant for more than 20 years.
Incredible appetizer menu (be sure to try the abolone).
Cafe Miro is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Try this gourmet jewel, you won't be disappointed.
