“Large servings.”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Looks pretty ordinary from the Street but once you are seated it has a great atmosphere with good selection of foods. The 4 of us ordered 3 mains and after complimentary chips and dip could barely manage to finish the large servings we got all of which were delicious.

“Excellent Margaritas”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Complimentary chips to go with "the best margaritas in town". We were there for happy hour and only paid around $5 for our margaritas so very happy. Didn't eat a meal there but the menu looks really good. Margaritas are pretty awesome.

“Have the chimichanga”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

I arrived late--close to 10 pm and closing time. Order a combo plate and with the advice of my server chose the chimichanga and taco. Food arrived promptly and was very good. Chips and salsa are provided free--refills aren't. Not a big place. Not a polished place. Had the feel of a neighbourhood hangout. I'd go back.

“Food was ok, service not so much”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

EXPENSIVE! The cheapest entree is about $17. It was mediocre mexican food, not worth the price we paid. My husband ordered a lemonade & the waitress asked if he wanted a refill, he said yes. She left & never came back with a refill. I had to flag her down 10 minutes later to ask for it again. He also ordered a chimi with pork, the chimi he got only had beans, so again, we had to flag the waitress down to correct. I've worked in the service industry & usually when a mistake is made, a member of management will come out to apologize & rectify the situation. This never happened & the waitress seemed more like she couldn't wait for us to leave because she knew we weren't happy. I think this could be a good restaurant but the service needs to improve & either the prices need to come down or the food quality needs to be reflective of those prices.

“Don't waste your time or your money”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

I can't remember when I've had such bad Mexican food. Poorly presented, little or no flavor. The beans were sloppy with a few onions and the rice was not worth eating. Main course served with stringy unseasoned beef. Silverware came in an oatmeal can and you couldn't even cut the food with their knives. The service was extremely fast but not worth even that brief wait. Don't go!
