This place is very busy so prepare to wait at least an hour of you want to dine inside. The fish was fantastic and the salad bar is a cheap add-on if you are hungry and don't want to wait for your food. Hula Pie is nothing special but still a must on your first visit.

One word--fabulous and fun (ok, two words). Husband's 79th birthday dinner and hula pie instead of cake was great. Serenaded by a trio of singers--95, 85 and 83 years old, complete with ukuleles. The youngest was a member of the Don Ho band.
Busy, noisy, good food, good service and atmosphere. In a city where many places are overhyped, this one deserves a visit. A must do!

Of course, when in Waikiki you have to go to Dukes for a drink or a bite to eat. The place is always busy, full of atmosphere and a Waikiki institution. We only visited twice and enjoyed the late night music on a Sunday night when most things were closing up.

The restaurant was very busy. We were glad we waited. There are several areas and we ate in the Tiki Bar. Food was fantastic, service was excellent, and surroundings were lovely.

Very crowded in the evening because the food is good. Right on the beach.

We ate at one of the bar tables which has a limited menu. We had the fresh fish sandwich, $19 with fries. Very good but it is loud even though open air.

We have eaten here before and the food is always good. Great breakfast buffet as well but did not try this trip.
