Family Dinner (18-Jul-2016).

Great location in the Outrigger Hotel complex on Waikiki Beach. Eat inside or on outside terrace.

Went there as one of the 'must go' places for a visitor to Honolulu. Tends to be busy a all times of the day. If you want to go here for dinner I would recommend going early i.e. around 5 pm, as you may have a long wait if you go after 7 pm.

Reasonably / moderately priced items on the menu.

Live entertainment / performer appears to be the 'norm' or at least between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Enjoyed a couple of varieties of tacos - ahi fish tacos ( good ), Korean steak tacos (very good). Good selection of mixed drinks and beer. Several local beers on tap. Signature ice cream cake dessert (macadamia nut ice cream, oreo crust, chocolate syrup, whipped cream) is "OK".

Recommend.

We stayed in the Outrigger which is where Dukes is located. We were here 8 years ago, enjoyed the food and atmosphere then, and equally now with our grandson. A lot of fun and great food.

My husband and I had a lovely night here. Service and ambience was extremely good. The food was ok and probably a little overpriced for what you got (salad bar by far over priced!)
A singer performed and there was a great atmosphere. I'm glad we visited.

Duke's is located in a great position on the beach. Always enjoy going there, sometimes just for a drink and sometimes for a meal. It has always been good. Love a good mai tai there.

I visited here earlier this month to catch up with a travel friend of mine, and found it to be a great hot spot for holiday makers!!

Right on the beach, Dukes is somewhat infamous as it's located out front of Moana Surf rider - one of the first hotels in waikiki. Always packed, you've got to get in early to grab a spot, or be happy sharing a table with strangers. Drinks were average price, and meals started around $12US. As we were on the cocktails (great menu!!), we both ordered taco variations and found them successfully filling. Plus, they had the local fish and it was grilled to perfection with a healthy serve of gaucamole!!

We stayed for a few hours and was a great place to be in the action and watch the sun go down. Will go back for sure!
