“Long wait but worth it.”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

We stayed at the Hilton and our concierge told us to walk down the beach to Dukes. The walk was a lot longer than we thought it would be and by the time we got there, we were exhausted and starving!! We had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our table. But by the time we sat down, the food was worth it. Our server was fantastic, the salad bar was just okay and the steaks were great. Fun place to go.

“Sunday for Live Music”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

We went to Duke's for live music on a Sunday afternoon. It was incredible! The setting is a solid 10 out of 10 right on the beach. Music was awesome with people dancing and having a great time in Waikiki.

“Duke's!”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

When in Waikiki you have to go to Duke's ! After fun in the surf and sand pupu's at Duke's is the way to go. A drink, some music and the chicken quesadilla was the best!

“Excellent fresh fish!”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

Based on other TripAdvisor reviews, we went to Duke's Canoe Club for our first dinner in Hawaii. The menu selections were great, I had the Mahi-Mahi baked "Duke's Style". It was awesome, so fresh and tasty. The meal came with a trip to the salad bar which was extensive. We were too full for dessert, but very satisfied.

The atmosphere was nice, with pictures of Duke and various celebrities on the walls. We had fun guessing who some of the people were, and finding out who Duke was. We were there on November 12 at about 6:30 without a reservation and had to wait about a 1/2 hour, but it was not overly crowded. Obviously a favorite of locals as well as tourist like us. We were in shorts and polo shirts and did not feel under or over dressed. Some women were in dresses and some men in pants, but it doesn't feel formal at all.

I thought the prices were reasonable for a fresh fish dish prepared well, about $30 for the fish, it was in line with other Waikiki prices. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, with good suggestions.

“Love the Nostalgia and Food”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

I have always wanted to eat at Dukes restaurant in Waikiki Beach. Usually the lines are quite long, so I ventured in for an early lunch, and was not disappointed. The service was superb. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. I loved looking at the old photos and reading the history about Duke.

This is one of the iconic places you should visit!
