The place is ALLWAYS busy, but very well run, and nothing is too much trouble for the very helpful staff, we spent many, many nights at the bar, and also the Dukes restaurant.

For at least the last 15 years, if there is a "Duke's" brand restaurant in the area, we have to go. It was a family tradition started by my mom's love for Kimo pie, and we are happy to carry it on. The Waikiki location is great and right on the beach. Food is very good and the buffet seems like a great value, although we didn't try it this time. We've been to this location twice now, and the service is beyond good.

My wife recognized our waiter from a year ago and we chatted. My son has an unusual order at restaurants and the waiter remembered that. Last time, the manager took the order and it didn't come out quite right (long story but it wasn't a big deal at all). He insisted we have a free Kimo pie for desert. This time the same manager came by to say hi, and once again, delivers us another complimentary Kimo pie. We really, really appreciate that level of service, and for that alone, would return.

A salad bar to end all salad bars! Prime Rib was superb! Casual atmosphere, really enjoyed our dinner!

This restaurant has everything you want in a touristy restaurant. It is centrally located in Waikiki, the food is great. I recommend the seared Which if you are more daring. The world famous salad bar is also delicious. The drink menu is first class. The staff is very helpfull and the entertainment is very nice. Most days there is live entertainment playing on the back Lanai (patio). I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and when the bill comes just remember you are eating in Waikiki and you only live once... unless you live on island then you only eat there once in a blue moon. Haha
