You order your malasada and they make it fresh for you and the wait is only about 1 min. There's all kinds of fillings that you can get and there's also plain ones too. This is a must eat place.

A different kind of donut. A family business and worth the trip. The donuts are cooked to order and 6 will just about fend an army.

The whole reason to go to Leonard's is for the malasadas, which are basically large fluffy donut holes rolled in cinnamon and sugar. They melt in your mouth and are well worth the wait.

After grabbing lunch at Rainbow Cafe we decided to walk a few more blocks to Leonard's for Malasadas for dessert. There was a small wait to place our order, yes you place your order and then they are made to order. They are piping hot when you get them, fluffy and sweet. A fabulous afternoon treat. I saw others with cupcakes and sherbet. I did not partake but they looked equally as good. The customers I spoke with confirmed that the other treats were good as well.
