“Good food. Nice view over marina”
Reviewed January 21, 2014 via mobile

This was a fun place to stop. Our waiter Jai was awesome. My hubby didn't ever have to ask for a refill on his coke, as a new one was set on the table as soon as the one before was finished. We tried the Hawaiian BBQ pizza. Our table was inside in the air conditioning which was needed but overlooked the marina. What a relaxing way to finish up our vacation to Hawaii.

“Great Service!”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

CPK is a chain. The food is the same in Hawaii as it is in California, quite delicious. We like how the pizza came as we expected. The service was great. The waitress attended to all of our needs with enthusiasm and a smile. I found that the service in this location was much better than the ones in California, despite being extremely busy.

“Nice place. Crowd escape.”

Had a Cobb salad at the counter at the open kitchen. Perfect light meal, informal atmosphere. On the top floor of the Ala Moana shopping center, away from all the holiday crowds.

“Great food, good price, good fun. ”
Reviewed December 23, 2013 via mobile

Stopped in for lunch unplanned on a super busy day before Christmas. We were seated super fast by extremely friendly and helpful staff. We got one pizza and one of their small plates and that was a perfect late lunch. The free bread was even really good quality. We got our food and drinks super quickly. The cocktails were delicious and not over priced. HIGHLY reccomend the frozen lemonades, super delicious.

“Mixed Impressions”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

Christmas shopping at Hawaii's largest and most popular shopping center can be tiring sometimes. So, we decided to have a sit down table service lunch and relax a bit.

California Pizza Kitchen was agreed to and was shown to a table not to my liking. I spoke up and it wasn't a problem to be shown another table with a view of the ocean. A plus for good service. Our server, named Love, almost immediately showed up with the menus and asked if we would like anything to drink. A short while later, Love returned with our Iced Tea drinks.

After perusing the menu, we decided on the Moroccan Spiced Salad and a Sicilian Thin Crust Pizza. The pizza crust was both crispy and chewy. Just the way we love it! The amount of sauce was just right to give it taste and not make the pie soggy. The toppings were both tasty and sufficient enough to get some in nearly bite. 4 stars for the pizza! And now for the salad. The Romaine was fresh and crisp, the avocado was ripened perfectly but the beets seemed like it was out of a can. The peanuts were not roasted enough and the dates were an extremely rare topping on the Moroccan Spiced Salad. The amount of dressing tossed with the salad was adequate. However, having been to Morocco, we didn't detect a hint of any Moroccan spices. In fact, the dressing was very bland and was jus there to moisten the Romaine Lettuce. A lot of black pepper, Parmesan Cheese and chili flakes finally made the salad palatable. 2 stars for the salad.

The ambience was fine and Love provided excellent service. She kept our iced tea glasses filled and our table clean without being obtrusive. 4 stars for ambience and 5 stars for Love's service!

I would return again and recommend this establishment to others. But, stay away from the Moroccan Spiced Salad! Although it's a recommended choice on the menu, it's a loser!
