Well if you want to have a day of hell take a Roberts day tour to the big island : Well start at your hotel at 9 am and go to the airport and wait 2 hrs for your flight then there is only seats her and there so you are not with your party (one couple were told there 4 year old had to sit 3 rows away from them)then go to Big Island and wait half an hr before you load into a bus that had A/C going so loud that you could not think and it was cold in there. Then to a water fall that was pretty but not very big but ok. Then back 20 miles or so to pick up someone's bags from there hotel as they had to be at the airport for an international flight to Los Angeles that night I-though that Ca was in the USA but...then off to a nut farm self tour you ware to walk up a set of stares and look into windows but they were too dirty to see in so lunch there but no food well driver and who ever the guy on his cell was would take us somewhere else to eat but that was another hr this took us to 3 o'clock for lunch and over 1 hr to get food there was a menu with no prices on it and when I went to the other side and picked one up that did have prices on it it was half what we paid now it is 4:30 we start the tour the driver would not turn Dow his mike so all we heard was scratching and rambling on and on but I don't know what he said .When ask about the black sand beach and other things that we were to see he just did not a respond. We went to the lave spot and could see a red glow in the canon, where lave was but not worth the 770. That we paid for the tour.then right back to airport for another wait of about 1 hr 45 min candy bars for dinner as there was no place to eat there that was open. Now I was very angry so I sent a letter the very next day to the Expedia guy at our hotel and we did not here anything for a week after we got home and we were told Roberts would refund 89$ each that was the price of the ground tour.Well if air fare was 360 . Return for 2 from Oahu and 89.00 was the ground part then who got the other 232$ I don't know but I do know you have to. Be VERY carful before you book tours ,it was not so much the bad toue but 1day of our too short vacation was stole from us.if you get a bad tour list it here and help others

“Seamless professionalism - thank you, Roberts & My Hawaii!”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Our involvement with Roberts began when we booked our holiday trip with our Brisbane-based travel agent, My Hawaii (which, by the way, provide a great Hawaiian holiday package). This was the start of a perfect holiday. As promised in My Hawaii's promotional material, we were greeted on arrival at Honolulu Airport by our friendly Roberts driver who gave my wife and I a beautiful lei each (real flowers!) and, assisted by a burly porter who made light work of our bags, we were quickly whisked through the city to our Waikiki Beach hotel. Our holiday package included several day and evening tours and on each occasion Roberts were at our hotel on time and with a friendly, efficient guide or driver to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Top class!

“Airport Transfer to/from Hotel”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

We used Roberts for our airport transfer to and from the hotel. Our flight arrived late at night and a Representative was already waiting at the baggage claim for us with beads/shells. She promptly took us to the waiting bus and we were at our hotel within 15 minutes. For our return to the airport a week later, they were also prompt (actually early) and we had great service!

“Volcanoes on the Big Island”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

This trip is well worth the money, even if it seems dear at the time. We were picked up from our hotel, taken to the airport, our boarding passes organised, picked up at Hilo and then taken on the tour for the day. Our guide, Ed, was excellent. He had a good knowledge of the history of the people and of the volcanic activity. It was only a small group tour and he was very accommodating. We saw the craters and lava fields and then the active crater glowing in the evening and rumbling. The restaurant that Roberts organised for lunch was reasonably priced and the food was good. We also had Roberts pick us up and take us to the airport and they could not be faulted.

“Stars and Stripes Tour”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

One of the best tours we had in Hawaii. Although you are only driven to the attractions and then handed over to a tour guide it is still a great experience. We visited the main attractions we had on our list of things to do whilst on Ohau. Our bus driver, Cousin Ted was one the best drivers we have ever had and we will definitely be asking for him on our next visit to Hawaii. Cousin Ted kept us informed and entertained for the whole tour and I would recommend asking for him if you are planning a tour. The tour itself was fantastic and the knowledge of the tour guides was exceptional. I will definitely be recommending Roberts Hawaii and especially Cousin Ted to our family and freinds when they visit Hawaii.
