I took the #22 thebus which has a closest stop about 30 mins from the trail head. Get off at the last stop at Sea Life Park, use the washrooms across the highway, taking your chances crossing the road, as that is your last option. Enjoy the view of the surf there, it is spectacular. There are picnic tables and change rooms. Then walk along the highway, worrying about the cars that might swerve as the driver is distracted by the view and go up to the lookout point were there could have been a safer bus stop installed with a little bit of planning. At the far end of the lookout parking lot you will see another car park and a trail, walk along the highway again (how hard would it be to make a pedestrian path?) walk up the road and follow the clearly marked paved path to the highest lookout. There is also a dirt path that looks intriguing, but the lack of washrooms or cover for a pit stop caused me to return to the Sea Life bus stop. I enjoyed the hike, the footing is fine, there isn't a lot of shade and the wind will take most hats off your head. Worth doing but if I had little kids with me I would want to drive there rather than risk the highway walk.
