My partner and I stayed here for a little over a week and had a wonderful stay. After spending 2 weeks in a really quiet , remote and large cottage in Kauai we were concerned that this part of the holiday may not be as comfortable or enjoyable but we were wrong. This place was great in its own way. The first thing we noticed was the awesome lobby. It is really trendy and fresh and made a great first impression. Next the staff... So professional! No pretension - just quiet, polite and friendly people - all of them. They checked us in early after we arrived on an early flight from Kauai, which was not expected but appreciated. The room was small but nice, white, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It had a large flat screen TV, not a tiny little one. The bathroom was large, white, modern and also spotless. The bed was super comfy. The hotel has a rooftop pool which was bigger than I expected and also spotlessly clean. Someone else mentioned it could be updated but I liked it as is. I don't think it needs to be any fancier. In the lobby there is complimentary tea, coffee and water, along with an ice machine. There was also a couple of computers with free internet but the wifi in the rooms was super quick so we didn't use them. There was also complimentary newspapers available. This was our third visit to Waikiki and other hotels we have stayed at in the past have been noisy with both street noise and noise from other guests doors . We didn't hear much noise at all from the street, none of those pesky garbage trucks, and rarely heard other guests doors even though the hotel was full. Yes the air conditioner was a little loud at times, but we just turned it off and enjoyed the trade breezes. This hotel is in a great location close to everything. We walked everywhere including Ala Moana, Ward Centre, beaches, Diamond Head, but there is a bus stop close by to get you around if you are not a walker. In all, this place felt like a home away from home and I would definately stay here again. It is not luxurious, just clean and comfortable with a great, relaxed, down to earth vibe :0)
