“Short Walk from Ala Moana Hotel”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

Weather was absolutely beautiful. Nice area for smaller kids, didn't have huge waves to contend with or large crowds of people.
Nearby park seemed comfortable with shade, but there were a lot of homeless people hanging around and sleeping.

“Nice park, Bar-B-Q Available, Good Snorkeling”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Right on Waikiki Beach. The sand is great, not too crowded, but it does start to fill up fast. Some of the nearby hotels do not have enough beach front so lots of people come to this beach. There is corral and fish, and the snorkeling is pretty good. There are pic-nic tables in the park and plenty of room to play volleyball or frisbee or other games. Nice park.

“Gorgeous and quiet”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

It's a bit of a walk (or short bus ride) to get to this park and beach area from Waikiki, but it's so beautiful and much quieter. Clearly where the locals go.
