The rich culture of Burmese food comes to Hawaii in this restaurant. The spicy shrimp is phenomenal and the tomato salad was very flavorful. I recommend this to any tourist or resident in Hawaii looking for a cultural experience and delicious food.

If you haven't been to Myanmar or are considering going, prepare your palette with an authentic Burmese food experience at the Lemongrass Cafe. Aye Aye the chef is from Burma, and succeeds in presenting you with five authentic dishes done with no shortcuts for you to savor and enjoy. The mix of flavors and food pairings arrive on a well presented plate in a cafe with atmosphere supporting a gustatory experience at a very democratic price. Don't miss it! You will come back again. Bring your friends who look at travel, culture and food as essentials in life.

I visited Lemongrass Cafe for one of their Burmese "pop up" dinners. The prix fixe meal included appetizers, entree and dessert, all for an extremely reasonable price. The food was delicious, and the Burmese chef explained all the dishes. The atmosphere was very festive and the service was great. I have also been to Lemongrass for lunch. Their daily plate lunches are just as authentic, delicous and reasonably priced.
