Waikiki beach is a great beach full of people and activities, reminded me of Venice Beach Santa Monica with all it's non stop activities. Enjoyable walking along the beach people watching firstly past Fort Derussy Park towards Waikiki Bay and then back along the beach with the shops and the harbour. So different to the big island where we had previously stayed on our trip. A truly buzzy place.

Visited with kids and we had a great time. Relaxing beach and warm clear water. Made the kids day to see a seal sunning on the beach and a turtle swimming close to the shore.

Possibly one of the best family trips we have had. There is enough for teenage kids to do as well, and shopping is a joy, as we travel the opposite season and bargain are a plenty. Things on the bucket list, visit the food trucks up on north shore, see pipeline, even if the surf isnt pumping, stroll along the beach and check out the huge surf homes, they are amazing. Free fireworks on a Friday night. Cheescake factory sells every kind of possible dinner option and including cheesecakes. Cheap Trolley rides to local big shopping centre. Dukes on Waikiki is amazing, bands play as u watch possibly the best sun set over the ocean. Go, just go would be my advice. Accommodation along the beach strip is super expensive. But lets face it, you've come this far, you need to have the beach view, don't spoil your trip by looking at the backside of a high rise.

Beautiful sunsets, clean sand and environment. We felt safe there, just outside of hotels, near Royal Hawaiian. We stayed across the street at Sheraton Princess Hotel. Easy access to beach there. Kind of busy, of course, met some nice people from cruise ships, which stop there for the day. Water seemed clean and swimming, Ok, except look out for incoming catamarans, as they take up a large portion of beach space.

This is a famous beach. It is very beautiful to view. The city has it set up nicely with added street appeal with lamps, floral and fauna and waterfalls.

The beaches were amazing. Highly recommend to everyone. Lots to do and the staff renting loungers and umbrella's are incredibly helpful

We stayed at the Ashton. They put us on the 19th floor with ocean front views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The views were stunning. Sunsets were magnificent. Not to be missed. Great walking and always felt safe. Can find reasonable priced food if you want to do the fast foods all down the strip. Must try a meal at Dukes. Alcohol by the drink is expensive where ever you go. They load it up with ice. By a bottle of you favorite at an ABC store located several places on the strip, get some cheese and watch the sun set on your balcony.

We lucked out on Thursday night and saw free show. There was a stage under the big Banyan tree near by Duke's statue and was 2 or 3 generations of Hawaiian musicians. In between dances and songs, there were explanations of Hawaiian culture and historic references. The audiences were quiet and could enjoy much.

Winter getaway in Hawaii.

It’s my 4th time and it never lets me down.

Nothing better than shopping followed by beach time in the pacific

This is a great relaxing beach down by the Hilton side. The water is calm and a great chance to learn to SUP or just lounge in the water and take in great views
