Walked the length of the beach from the Hilton Hawaiian village to the great banyan tree. Not all the beach is available but it is nice to visit some of the shops on the way and to walk through the park opposite the military museum. The sunset was the best bit.

I stayed at the beach for the majority of my stay. I loved meeting the friendly travelers and the beach staff were helpful too!

Great place to swim and try out the new snorkel. Water is clear and a hot day very refreshing without being in a washing machine. There is waves for the body boarder in you as well. Great place for familys.

The water is so amazing here. The sand is soft and does not hurt your feet. Expect lots of people to be out on the beach. The beach was very clean and clear when we visited. Just beautiful!

Very touristy location, however you can’t come to Waikiki and not go to the beach! Nice to walk along at night time when going to dinner instead of walking thru the streets.

Loved the beach on the down side there are a lot of homeless people on and around the beach. It is something I'm sure the City officials are trying to deal with and hopefully they will figure something out in the future.

Beautiful beach. The only thing was the jellyfish were bad and people were getting stung! Started seeing lots of jellyfish so didn't stay in water too long! But it was beautiful, so blue and clear!

We could walk to Waikiki Beach from our hotel. It was a very crowded. It is the happening place and had many water sports and umbrellas for rent. We didn't spend any time here just came by to see some surfers and the beach itself as Waikki Beach is world famous.

Had to make sure I got down to Waikiki Beach while in town. Just kind of makes you smile to walk the beach that is probably one of the most famous in the world. As far as a beach goes it is not overly impressive, but it's just the fun of knowing all the stories behind it and the great joy it has given our servicemen throughout the many years. Plus it does have a stellar view of Diamond Head in the background!

For some reason walking Waikiki made me think of Hawaii back in the day when Elvis would visit. Perhaps its the Hilton Village or the old harbor where Gilligans Island was filmed or the older cooler hotels. Very historic and fun.
