We discovered this very small museum while walking down the street in Waikiki. I had recently read a book about the history of the leper colony on Molokai, and only realized what this was because of the names on the unobtrusive sign outside the building.
There is a history of Father Damien and Sister Maryanne, as well as others who worked on Molokai. The photos are very moving, and the stories are interesting and informative.
If you happen to be in the area, it is a place that is worth spending time in.
