First time Hawaii visitor here, checked in today, 2/10. An amazing experience so far. Got in early with a sick little girl, Grace at the desk was so helpful getting us checked in early. Patrick saw us distressed with two kids and 10 bags, he immediately arranged to have them brought to the room. Gary delivered the bags, filled the ice, ordered extra amenities and gave us some great local tips. The room is simply amazing. The hotel is stellar! There is no better location in waikiki. If you are doing your homework on where to stay, if you are looking here, you are done. This is what you want, you've found your vacation. Enjoying room service on the balcony as I type!

Stayed here with friends and rooms were big and comfy beds. Great views from the balcony. Rooms can be a bit noisy pending on how many in room next door. Staff were excellent and the people on the tour desk were very helpful and informative

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights at the end of January 2014. This hotel is (as other say) a little bit outdated, but far from being run dan. It's a very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and nice view. The hotel is located on Waikiki beach on major walking/shopping street. The area is packed with great shops and even greater restaurants. There is no need to rent a car if you're staying in Honolulu. We used to take public buses when we wanted to see something outside Waikiki. They're reliable and cheap. But, back to the hotel. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. Every room has a balcony. A/C works very well. The sheets were clean. Receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. The only reason I'm giving this hotel 4/5 is the fact that WiFi in the room wasn't working properly. The connection was very weak and used to break down a lot. And the other thing is that breakfast wasn't included. One would expect to ger a free coffee, juice and croissant in the morning for the money this hotel charges per night. But, this is America, and though they say "no breakfast" is European meal plan, I've never been in any hotel in Europe (and I've been to many of them) without having breakfast included in service. Anyways, this breakfast issue is not Hyatt's fault (you can get one for additional fee), it's how it is in the States. So, if you decide to stay in Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Waikiki, you will not regret, and your stay will be pleasant:)

I really like this location - excellent beach access - even though located "across the road". Check in area can get very busy - but my diamond membership really helped there. Penthouse suite was a dream for our family (diamond upgrade - nice!) - club was large and very generous - would love to go back.

Older hotel, but service and location and amenities are great. Stayed on 29th floor with balcony and view of Waikiki Beach and Kalakaua St. Many shops and services in the hotel, along with a good restaurant. Room was large and comfy - everybody was super nice and accommodating - would stay there again.
