“Their kalua pork is good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2014

My husband and I happened upon this cafe as we went walking to Waikiki beach during our stay in Honolulu. For dinner I had a kalua pork with rice while my husband had a burger. Both meals were delicious! The staff were friendly and their service was good. Their pricing is not expensive and the beach side dining experience is awesome too! We were both happy with the experience that we returned for breakfast and lunch.

“Budget Gourmet ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014 via mobile

This little beach cafe is a few minutes south of Waikiki by foot. I've never much cared for luau food but the kalua pork sandwich for $7.95 and live entertainment on Wednesday & Thursday evening has put this establishment on the radar. Even the plating is special, complete with pineapple wedge and an orchid. Very well done Brian.

“Beachside eatery offering views and fresh "beach fare"”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014

Located a few feet from the beach (on the landward side of the beach walk), this little stand offers surprisingly good "beach fare" with excellent views. There are about 10 tables (half of them under cover), and on the last night we ate there, a young man was providing live music (acoustic guitar) while we watched the sun set. The menu is very limited, but my burger was excellent: freshly made, and to order. The place is located within a large park, in a quieter area of Waikiki (separated from road noise and big hotels).

“The Ahi Sandwich is Awesome!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2014

We enjoy the relative peace and tranquility on the far end of Waikiki, so ended up having lunch at the Café. I quite enjoyed the Ahi sandwich. A fair wait for your food, but that seemed to be the case in most restaurants we tried during our stay. The guys running the rather modest café were very pleasant, greeting you with warm smile. We went back for the Friday night barbeque and fireworks but passed on the food as the meals seemed pretty basic, offering a pot of niblets corn and a plastic tub of salad as entrees. It is fun place to hang out, however, as locals provide great entertainment and everything on the menu is reasonable priced. Worth a visit.

“Loved the view and the food was good too!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2014 via mobile

We ate here right before sunset which was truly the best time to eat and watch the sun go down. Spectacular. We ordered grilled salmon and Caesar salad for a reasonable price. The portions are good, not substantial but it was enough for my teenage sons.
