Great place to go, with lots of activities. Is expensive but there are some great deals especially for military retirees. This was truly a grand vacation at a premium facility with great staff who were always polite, considerate and helpful.

We moved to the Lagoon Tower and looked forward to all that went with it. Unfortunately we hit a weekend that they had a corporate event. Instead of a nice restful weekend we were hit with a corp party on Fri night that had not stop noise and other than being AT the party we heard every single song and noise to the fullest. The next day, Sat. they sat up for the next events. I called and asked if we should expect more of the same Sat night as we were up all night with the music and screaming the night before. We were assured there would be no entertainment Sat. night. Well that was 100% wrong. It's still going loud and strong and while I am glad the resort is making lots of $$$ and the corporation is having a great time, I am sad we are using our vacation time for the most unrestful time we have ever spent. This should have been free at best to put up with this non stop. Can hardly wait to see what we have to endure tomorrow night. What a waste of our time off.

Room Tip: Do not have a room that overlooks the party area by the Lagoon our you will be up for hours and get...

Aloha, and thank you for staying with us on your most recent visit to Honolulu. On behalf of our staff and management, I apologize profusely for the disruption caused to your vacation with the corporate party held on the Great Lawn. Parties on the Great Lawn do occur on occasion, though on most days and nights, there is only the stars, sun and the lagoon to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit and look forward to providing you with a wonderful and exciting, yet relaxing visit.

I stayed at this location before and loved it. I was offered a week vacation by HGV to listen to their sales pitch. I was offered a price for a week, but asked for an upgrade to a 2 bedroom which they promptly agreed to for a higher (double) price. When I went to reserve, they told me it was for a 1 bedroom at the higher price and weren't offering 2 bedrooms any more. They refused to honor my agreement and said that their notes didn't mention a 2 bedroom. They refused to listen to the recording. I always stay at Hiltons and Marriotts but this lack of trust is making me think of cancelling the two Hilton reservations that I have made for this summer.

Great location in Honolulu. Honolulu/Waikiki is crowded and traffic is awful. If you're looking for a place to stay in Waikiki, then this is a great place to vacation with family. Close to beach or use the great pool. Plenty of shopping and dining opportunities.

Room Tip: Ask for a room where you can watch the weekly fireworks from your balcony.

Great location in Honolulu! Easy to walk around the City; there were trolley's's but we didn't use them. A few too many kids for my liking but the facilities were great! Fireworks on Friday and Saturday night were very nice and free!

Room Tip: We were on the street side but noise was not a issue, could see the ocean from the corner of the ba...

I stayed at this resort over christmas and new years. My wife was 8 months pregnant at the time, we had to switch rooms and asked if there was somewhere we could store our stuff until our room was ready or if we could have a early check-in. There answer was a simple NO. We decided to go to the outdoor pool until our room was ready. We had all our personnel belongings with us at the pool, watch, credit cards money iPods camera etc in a backpack. After sting in my pool chair and not even being there for 15 minutes someone had snuck up behind us and stolen our bag right from under our chair while we were sitting there. Security came and took a statement and brought us to the hotel manager on duty. We had roughly 15,000.00 worth of stuff stolen and the managers only response was a story of when he went to thailand and had his passport stolen. He had no concern of what just happened at his hotel to us and did not offer us any help whatsoever. I asked him how he would like me to pay from our stay now that my credit cards were stolen, his ran to the desk and made sure to put through the charges before my card was cancelled. I will never stay at any hilton hotel again. the fact is no one at their hotel cared about what happened or tried to even help us.

We are sorry to hear that your items were stolen while you had them with you at the pool. We do have signs posted around all the pool areas advising guests to please pay attention to their valuables and belongings should they bring them inside the pool area. We are disappointed to hear that you were told there were no places to store your items as you could have checked them with our bell stand if necessary. We are also concerned that you felt the manager who assisted you showed indifference to your situation. We assume the reason why your card was charged quickly was to ensure that you would have accommodations to stay in. Regardless, we will review you comments with our resort management team for coaching and development opportunities. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us as it helps us in our efforts to continuously improve in providing better service to our guests.

The location of the property is VERY good and has most everything you would need on property. Property is very good for a family or a couple. You will find it a little pricey but its HI. You can use it as a base to go anywhere on the island
