“Nice Sea Turtlesg and Fishes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

Had a great time snorkeling here at Honolulu it was fun snorkeling in the sea where i got to see a lot of sea turtles and fishes. Beautiful corals too. The crew was very friendly and they took some compimentary pictures under water which they post on facebook for free. However i could not get my pictures nor none of our trip members got it as the camera was flooded. Take some food while you go for sail as you would be hungry for an hour of snorkel. They sell juices and non alcoholic drinks while you sail for $1 the cheapest you can find in honolulu ;) . BYOY or your coolers with beer to have fun after you snorkel as they take you on a sail along the waikiki costline after the snorkel.

Also kids under 2 are allowed to sail in this catamaran, though it was bumpy a bit i would still recommmend this for a family.

“Wonderful First Time Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2013

We had never snorkeled before but the crew was kind, helpful, reassuring and knowledgeable. The tour consisted of a short boat ride to a sea turtle feeding site with plenty of time there to see a variety of fish, octopus, starfish and of course sea turtles. The sea turtles swam right near us. My husband even had a near face to face encounter with one. Very awesome! On the way back to Waikiki, the captain steered the long way around searching for whales as there had been numerous sightings. The crew went out of their way to make our experience memorable. The fun continued even after we returned home and checked out their Facebook page with all the pictures the crew took. Like them on Facebook and you can tag your pictures and download for free.

“Good crew and activity”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

My friends and I found this activity on Groupon. Unfortunately the day we went out was rainy and cold.

The drive to Kewalo Basin Harbor is about 15 minutes from Waikiki. The washroom stalls here DO NOT have doors (at least not when I went) so if you aren't comfortable using the toilet like that, I suggest you use the washroom before you leave the hotel.

The crew, I think Chris and Captain Crash were their names, were very friendly and funny. They played music while the boat went out to the snorkelling area. They provide snorkelling masks and noodles to help you float in the water. We did get to see many turtles but because of the weather, the water wasn't as clear as it was for some other people. Some people didn't want to get in the water so they stayed on the boat. Chris helped the people who were afraid and didn't know how to swim. He coached them and swam next to them to see the turtles and they brought them back to be closer to the boat.

The excursion ended about 45 minutes earlier because of the rain. My friend and I were very sea sick on the boat ride back to the harbor but it wasn't because the crews fault.

“First trip to Oahu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

We bought a groupon for this excursion and really enjoyed the ride. The water was calm and the weather was perfect the day we went. They really do go out of their way to make sure you experience ocean life. Husband got to hold a star fish and swim with sea turtles! So jealous I missed out as I had to sit on the boat with our little one. After the snorkling, captain Steve sailed around until we caught up with a mamma and baby whale (spectacular) and dolphins that were actually showing off for us. This catamaran is not as advertised as some of the other ones, but I would recommend Island Magic. Nice little boat with friendly crew.

“Fun Snorkel lots of Turtles!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

A very basic snorkel cruise, short 15 minutes to the snorkel spot, you are then giving a snorkel and mask but no fins, the location is filled with lots of fish and turtles and is called a cleansing station as the fish clean the turtles of anything attached to them. We took the morning cruise and had plenty of time in the water. Soda and Water are $1.00 and there is no lunch or breakfast but your price is very low compared to other snorkel trips, we paid only $32.00 per person with a groupon coupon. They also take pictures and video of the entire cruise and post them on Facebook for free, by liking them you can tag all of your pictures and download them for free. If you do not want anything fancy and at a great price this is a great snorkel cruise.
