We found this place through Yelp. Looks a bit dodgy, and we almost thought it was closed as we walked up. But they had some great food. We loved the Seared Ahi so much we came back just for that on another day. Also had a burger which was really good. Worth stopping by at least once. It'll surprise you.

If I hadn't read the reviews on Trip Advisor, we wouldn't have gone through the door. The whole area looks a bit shady. But thank goodness we did. Place was packed with locals and tourists alike. Really buzzing atmosphere. Waitresses really attentative, as well as extremely beautiful, and really helpful on menu selection. I think we played it too safe - we went for burgers and daughter went for noodles - which were amazing, but on hindsight we should have been more adventurous when we saw what others were ordering. Your probably best to share meals, so you get to taste a great selection of food - portion sizes were huge. We ran out of time, otherwise we would definitely have gone back. The cheapest meal we ate in 2 weeks in Hawaii. Just note - no-one under 21 allowed in after 8 pm. We just scraped in. Fantastic place.

Went there during Monday night football. Had several different dishes and all were excellent , especially the kimchee rice and the sashimi. Would definitely go back again .

We came here on a Friday for drinks and returned the next day. It was so packed and even though we put our name down to get a table, we never did get one. We managed to find seating at the bar and ordered the kalbi fried noodles -- PHENOMENAL. Our waitress on Friday night was also really good.

It's a great place for excellent food at great prices. Tourists and Locals agree that it's a great place to go. The workers are all very helpful, and will be honest with you on food selection. There are many great dishes on the menu, and I've gotten to try mostly all of them. My favorites include the House Salad (salad laced with delicious bacon bits and sweet vinaigrette); pork chops (fried with salt and pepper), truffle fries (fries w/pepperoni), and Kalbi Noodles (fried noodles w/ slices of korean style short ribs). There are many other favorites others will mention, but I think it's a matter of preference. So ask the waitress for suggestions, or look around and let your eyes and nose do the ordering.

Overall, it's great place to go no matter who you are or what the occasion is. The only downside is that it gets crowded for special events like UFC matches or University of Hawaii Football games. Other than that, it's one of those places you must go.

Aloha!
