Went to safeway to buy the onsale corn for 3 for 1. Casher said you have to have club card. I told her I waited 20 min no one working their. Then she starts yelling at me you can not open the corn. You will make a mess. Who is going to clean it up. So I try again to get club card. Then the casher stat yapping the same issue again. Very bad customers service. I think they dont want my business.

Located a short drive outside of Waikiki beach area, this location has lots to offer.
Precooked rotisserie chicken, salads, a deli, a Starbucks just about everything a tourist could want. Local produce like pineapple were $.69/lb but apples $4/lb. They are just across the Leonard's so a easy way to combine 2 stops.

Go here and get quick, easy and pre made foods or have something made to order.

There is a huge option for foods and was not disappointed. Fill a takeaway container from a wide selection of hot cooked foods or salads - they price is by the pound so the heavier your container the higher the cost.

Food: hot potato salad bak, brocolli, chicken in sauce, spring rolls, rice white PLAIN, noodle mix; corn, beef, mince and other meat assortments.
Plus plus plus,
There are COLD options: - peas, corns, chickpeas, red beans, tomatoes, jalapeno, carrots, lettuce, lettuce red mix, and other cheeses and creamy potato salads.

Whilst here grab a few grocery items and keep them in your room )(make your own sandwhiches and snacks - save money and get good healthy foods especially if you get fresh salad from the fruit and veg space.
there is a wide selection of pre made sushi options.

There are so many places to 'nosh' in Hawaii, with the compulsery plastic smiles and high prices, one becomes completly confused. So why select a Safeway Supermarket. If you're a seasoned traveller and seek value for money "who would have thought" Safeway would be the BEST choice. Freshly made hot and cold deli sandwiches, soups, pizza, paninis, ribs, superb salads, and deli trays for any occasions. Wonderful Sushi and a place to sit and enjoy your healthy meal. Never thought this Aussie would promote one of the 'Big Two' but thanks to Safeway I almost enjoyed Hawaii.

A short walk from Honolulu Zoo on Waikiki Beach brings you to Safeway, the best food market on the island. This is where you will find the freshest cheapest bananas and pineapples with great specials on Kona coffee beans as well. Forget about buying coffee and chocolate covered macadamias anywhere else - you will get ripped off. Then again, tourists who can't be bothered walking out of Waikiki will pay the price. And did I mention the beer and wine specials? OK it gets a bit heavy to carry if you get everything at once. Not to worry though, there is an excellent Taco Bell across the road on the way home to eat and rest. The supermarket deli was also top class.
