“Go for the tan tan, stay for the gyoza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2014

Insanely good ramen with good sides. Get the tan tan ramen if you like spicy, and balance it out with the addictive red ginger. Beer only, and unless you are three or more, be prepared to eat at the counter. Often long lines—go once and you'll see why.

“Delicious Ramen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2014

This is a small restaurant with limited parking in the back. The ramen is delicious! I ordered my ramen with Kotteri broth, the flavor is so rich. I love the eggs and always order an extra egg. The price is very affordable. If you like ramen, you got to try this place.

“Everytime, SO good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2014 via mobile

If you love ramen, you owe it to yourself to try this place. It is so good. Took my son there for the first time today, and he finished all of his food! He usually doesn't. He even asked if we could go back there for dinner. You won't be disappointed.

“I love Tenkaippin.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2014

First had a taste of Tankaippin in the heart of Osaka, and immediately fell in love with it. It does taste a little better in Japan, however they say the ingredients are the same here... Maybe its all in my head. You cannot go wrong with the Kotteri bowl of ramen with extra noodles. Seriously. I wish they had this place on Maui. :(

“Delicious Ramen noodle and very reasonably priced”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2014

My boyfriend and I went there for lunch and waited for them to open. He ordered the Kotteri and i had the spicy tan tan ramen. Both of us finished our bowl! The Kotteri's broth of thick and rich, very unique, the noodle has just the right amount of chewiness. I loved my spicy tan tan as well. it's not over the top spicy and the broth is great. Also, if you like egg, don't miss the slow cooked egg. It's delicious.
