“Sweet beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

While there are definitely nicer beaches outside of Waikiki area, if you want to stay in town this is less crowded and nicer than main Waikiki beaches. Near Kapiolani park, good swimming, snorkeling and nice feel. Less touristy than most of Waikiki.

“Clean and quiet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

located right in front of the Kaimana hotel, but a public beach, nice and clean and quieter that Waikiki. The hotel provides a sunblock so there are some shade parts which suited us. As it is located about a ten minute plus walk form Waikiki there is not food/drink vendors and I don't think there are any toilets expect those in the hotel. Good for peace and quiet or perhaps little kids

“Small section of delight”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013 via mobile

I swam and snorkeled here after walking around Diamond Head. The beach is gentle in comparison to nearby Waikiki. The bottom is sandier with less reef rock and has some limited snorkling closer in towards the shore near the breakwall. Be careful of the current. At mid morning, the crowd was light. Enjoyable.

“Family Beach time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Kaimana is a short stretch of beach pass the old natatorium in Waikiki. The water is calm, lot's of sand and is a great place to bring your family. There's free parking adjacent to this beach and metered parking along kapiolani park. Fun time fot all
