We enjoyed a glass of wine at the Edge of Waikiki at sunset, yesterday. Amazing views of Diamond Head with a rainbow adding even more drama, surfers, paddle boarders, & swimmers in the water, & the sun setting framed by palm trees in the foreground. If, our table was any closer to the water, we would have been wet. :)

This bar is at the Sheraton Waikiki just past the infinity pool. Some people prefer Rum Fire at this hotel. But, I enjoyed the live Hawaiian music & the peaceful sunset at the Edge. Also, the service was quick & polite. We plan go go back, again.

Been waiting until our return from holidays to share our experience at this place. Tuesday afternoon, a bit of shopping in Waikiki, then perhaps a drink at an ocean side bar. Chose The Edge. Husband arrived first, sat alone for some time, no service. SO arrived, sat awhile longer, no service. Husband asked a passing waitress for 2 glasses of wine. She responded, unsmilingly, "Well, I'll tell your server to come over to take your order." Noticed another server (ours?) nearby, who avoided eye contact and spent time with young guys in the corner. Ok, another wait, our server, who ever that was to be, never came by our table. Decided to leave, LOTS of places on Waikiki beach to grab a drink. Started to walk out. Then the waitress, who up to now had not given us even a glance, yelled, "What's going on?" Then the one who said she would send over our waitress, appeared and began yelling and following us. "I've ordered your wine, thanks for leaving!" 1. she never indicated she was ordering our drinks; 2. she said she would send over our waitress; 3. no one ever came to take our order; 4. then we were YELLED at as we left after we had waited a decent amount of time. What a great place!!! We walked down the beach and arrived at The Shorebird, at the Outrigger Reef. Within 2 minutes, we were enjoying a smiling server and 2 glasses of wine. Later, tried to contact Guest Services at the Sheraton Waikiki. Got a generic email saying someone would respond to our complaint BUT NEVER heard back. Okay, guess what, never returning!! By the way, spend a lot of time on Waikiki Beach and surrounding area: GREAT service at: The Shorebird, Outrigger Reef, Beach Bar, Moana Surfrider, Tropics, at the HILTON, il Lupino, in the Royal Hawaiian Center and a few more. Do not bother with the Sheraton, spend money and time elsewhere.

We had a nice view of the ocean and had lunch there. There wasn't a huge selection of food, but what we had we enjoyed.

Love this place for lunch, as overlooks the water and great view of Diamond Head in the distance. Nice casual menu but I always have the Fish Tacos..the best ever! Expensive but worth it. The Fruit smoothies are pretty good as well.

Dropped by for lunch after spending time at the beach.
We were greeted by the server as if we had woken her up from her sleep!!
There was only 2 other parties having lunch, but the service was so slow.
Food was average too
Only thing going for this place is the location!
