Stop here for drinks. In the evening, you can take your drink and sit by the Sheraton Waikiki infinity pool and watch the stars go by - heaven!

“A perfect vacation experience: good food, great weather, beautiful outdoor views, live Hawaiian music, hula/fire dancing”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Tables are situated on a patio overlooking the beach and waves at the ocean and other outdoor seating is at the infinity pool. The décor manages to blend the elegance of yesterday with the casualness of today. The views of the sea and Diamond Head are stunningly beautiful.

Hawaiian music is played and sung by a live band from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A hula dancer, dressed in pretty Hawaiian print evening gowns, with frequent dress changes, accompanies the band. Check the website for a schedule of performers, which changes daily. Arrive an-hour-to-45-minutes early to get a good table for dinner and the floor show.

Every night, by the endless pool, there is a free fire knife show. A fire dancer starts juggling a single torch burning at both ends, balances the torch on his feet while lying on his back, between his legs and underneath bended knee. At one point, there are two torches, creating four fires, which the dancer throws and catches. In the grand finale, the dancer twirls one burning torch and holds another one of the flaming wooden poles by his teeth.

I ordered the fresh fish tacos, which were deceptively small looking, but delicious and stuffed with vegetables, which were very filling. My husband had the average tasting, fire grilled, island Angus cheese burger with fries. All of the fruit drinks are made from real local juices, not a mix. We had the thick and rich virgin mango and pina colada flavors, garnished by orchids.

The prices are within the resort- area-by-the-beach range. The service was friendly and relatively fast, because we didn’t go on a weekend, during a convention or sports game night.

At the end of the evening, someone was celebrating with a fireworks show, on a boat, on the water, near the restaurant. We enjoyed the free display and everyone in my adult family had a good time.
