Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent view of the ocean from the huge balcony. The fireworks on Friday a bonus. Great location, and the building has plenty of amenities.
Location is perfect. Closed to beach and shopping. Helpful from Ms Agnes. Beach view from its balcony is so spectacular. Our kids were so much enjoyed with swimming pool and Friday night fire work. Thank you so much
Life is wonderful in Honolulu it was the best vacation ever! My boys loved Pearl Harbor very educational trip
When you have a central location, Waikiki beach as your next door neighbor, Friday night fireworks (yes, please) and are within walking distance to restaurants, stores and a myriad of other items/locales, you have a recipe for a great stay. The condo was wonderful and the kitchen was great. Having breakfast most every morning on the lanai was a treat as well as having Cinnamon's restaurant downstairs (try the Guava Chiffon pancakes). As I did have a few business obligations, the wifi connection was awesome to have and allowed me to connect quickly and easily with my office and clients. I had given Dainora an incorrect e-mail address for the information needed. She got back to me quickly and helped us have a great time. My wife Kelly and I definitely recommend and will visit again. Mahalo!
Beautiful view from the balcony. It is just as pictured. The Hilton had fireworks Friday, Saturday and Sunday when we were there (Mardi Gras?) The fireworks reflected off of the the Lagoon shown in the balcony picture. Worth seeing if you are there on Friday.
We enjoyed the pool during our visit.
The unit was very clean. The kitchen is small but it had everything someone would need to cook, including a slow cooker, roasting pan and dishwasher.
We didn't like the room divider so we used the unit as an extra large studio.
The bus stops outside of the building. There are many places to eat within walking distance. We did enjoy breakfast at Cinnamons downstairs.
The Ilikia is an older building. This unit has been maintained and is a very good value for the money. I would stay here again and recommend to a friend.
The owner was quick to respond to our questions and very pleasant to work with.
This location was great and an awesome view! Found out a lot of the scenes from Hawaii 50 were filmed at the Ilikai and surrounding beach! There was even a shrimp truck on the beach! We didn't try the pool out and the hot tub was closed but the condo was great. A little smaller than I thought it would be and had only a shower (I like to soak in the evening after ALL the walking we did) but still very nice and clean (that is a BIG deal to me)! The bed was comfortable and my son said the couch was too. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this condo. It was very comfortable and inviting. The bed was super comfortable and even better than the one we have at home. There was a full kitchen with dishes, microwave, fridge, and stove. I really loved the view and the location was so convenient. Friday night Fireworks at the Hilton were on perfect display from our room. Dionara has beach towels, an umbrella, and chairs to bring down to the beach. She even has a blu-Ray player with DVD's on hand. We just could not figure out how to use it. There was a decent laundry room at the end of the hall making it very convenient to do laundry. One load will cost you $5.00 in quarters though. Bring your own soap too. Since you are renting a condo, you are responsible for taking out the trash, bringing bath soap, and toilet paper. There is a cute little shop in the hotel but a 4 pack of toilet paper was almost $5.00. I liked that it was a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The hotel itself is beautiful. The restaurant Cinnamon's was also very good. The coffee shop was very convenient. The little market inside the hotel was a perfect spot at the end of the day to purchase pricey snacks. If I ever come back to Waikiki, I will definitely stay here again. The entire transaction was super easy and went very smoothly.
