We traveled with Globus (awesome tour, btw) and spent a few nights in the Sheraton Waikiki. As such, breakfast at the Kai Market was a simple pleasure. Buffet breakfast and an amazing view of Waikiki and Diamondhead...what could be better? Fresh fruit, grains and eggs all available, as are a few juice choices and coffee.

We ate breakfast here almost daily on our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki.

Slightly pricey, but the food was of good quality, and lots of it.

We did find, however, that a few "basic" items that you'd expect at a buffet were missing - namely Strawberry jelly (which I did discover a few days in that you could ask for and they'd bring from the kitchen) and peanut butter for toast, and also a sweet pastry (they have mini croissants and cheese danish, but no fruit or cinnamon/raisin danish option. Very limited options for cold cereal (3).

Fruit was good quality and lots of it. Omelette station was great. Lots of different meat options, plus pancakes and french toast.

Service was great, always friendly and with a smile, and were always accommodating when we went in with our little ones!

Try the purple (poi) and pink (liikoi) bread-toasted. Excellent!! Also wish they had the portugueese sausage every day!

The Kai Market dinner buffet in the Sheraton Waikiki has a large discount for seniors. The after discount price is $35 per person for one of the best buffets in town. They use locally grown items when possible (try the Kahuku shrimp with garlic for sure) and everything is excellent. Desert bar is decadent. Best available evening meal for the price.

The cost may seem expensive but it is the going rate for Waikiki Buffet breakfast' $28.95. The food is very good and ranges through all the usual foods. Also is all sorts of tropical fruits and breads. Their is a never ending stream of Cappuccinos. The omelet bar is excellent with many fillings available or have your eggs anyway you like them. If the weather is sunny go out to the lani and enjoy the ocean waves just a few yards from your table.
