“Like an international Walmart”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

Huge selection of just about everything at low prices. My wife and I had a delicious and inexpensive Korean lunch at Yummy's next door. Then we spent 3 hours in DQ buying Asian and Western groceries, nice aloha shirts for only $13, sturdy leather sandals for $11 soap, toilet paper, wine coolers, etc. The best buys were at their Asian deli section, where we bought 2 kinds of poke, kimche-flavored clams and fresh seaweed snacks. We walked out with 7 bags of items and had to catch a ride with a friend to get all the stuff home. It is a dangerous place to shop because of the huge variety and low prices.

“What an amazing revisit!”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

I love this store. It's like the ones in Japan, only products are more international. I found my favourite eye drops here, imported from Japan, as well as green tea. Prices are good, which is nice to see in Honolulu!

“Walmart in Japan here in the states”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

If you need articles and food stuffs from all over here is the place. Did not see Indian spices however. Had a ball since it is everything you would like from an international market in one place. Great fruits and veges. Becareful with the prices, some are spot on, some are crazy high. Also has food stuffs outside so lunch or take home dinner is there as well. Does not allow drinks inside...a bit strange. They are supposed to have green tea kit kats but did not find any. Good for spices and foods you know are difficult to find, not a great place for staples you can get else where, but have a tons of gifts and souvenirs if you can't get to Hilo Hattie. If nothing else check it out as a walmart from Japan.

“Good selection but sloppy”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

This place has good selection of Asian foods but is so opposite of hygenic. Merchandise is poorly displayed and there are better places to get groceries. Yuck!

“Well stocked supermarket with emphasis on products from Asia and Japan good prices.”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

This supermarket is open 24 hours a day, has an amazing selection of fresh produce and groceries at good prices.
Huge Japanese section for food items and their kitchen utensils, plus other Asian foodstuffs.
The best place to buy top sirloin steak for the BBQ at reasonable prices.
Seafood department , bakery and plate lunches for the locals.
A good place to pick up chocolates and nuts to take home for gifts.
Easy to get to from Waikiki take a 2 or 13 bus or walk.
Plenty of checkouts.
Seniors discount Tuesday.
