Not sure why this place got such bad reviews. Had the pho with rare and cooked beef and it was delicious. Spring rolls were also very good, not even a bit greasy. My girlfriend had vegetable fried rice that was light and flavorful. Staff was nice and accommodating. Prices were slightly high but hey this is Hawaii....everything is imported!

It's small, its crowded and the service is fast. The food was fresh, tasty and good value. The decor is plastic tables, plastic glasses, cheap cutlery. We had dinner for 4 with one round of drinks for $82. The shrimp and mixed vegetables was great. The Pho with shredded chicken came with a big bowl of Vietnamese mint, bean sprouts and lemon and the fried rice was excellent. Asahi or Corona beers just $4. quite a change from the tourist restaurants closer to the beach.

If you are looking for a fancy restaurant don't bother this is a cheap good traditional Vietnamese restaurant that provides good meals. Prices are cheap but don't expect silver service because it is not and the price reflects that. Good variety of meals on offer with Pho is more than enough for one person, service is quick and everything is fresh. Staff are typical Vietnamese service is good but rushed as very popular.

The flank steak in the pho was so fat we had to pick out 90% of it leaving only a little meat. The owners are so unfriendly they must have all the business they need.

While we were there a mother and son was "dining" about 3 tables away. They were so loud and the boy had the foulest mouth I've heard--and I was in the military. The owner did nothing about it, even though there is a sign right over the register stating they reserve the right to not serve anyone for any reason. I guess he was afraid.

The experience was horrible and I would NEVER eat here again.

We avoided this place numerous times, but noticed it's always full. The majority of the customers was Asians, a testament for good, authentic cuisine. We were cautious to stick with cooked food only -- Brisket Flank Steak Pho and Spicy Lemongrass Chicken with Rice -- left bean sprouts, basil and a side salad untouched. Both dishes were amazingly good!
