Our tour of the Palace was a fascinating look into Hawaiian history. Our guide, Phyllis, was knowledgable, articulate, and welcoming. We learned a lot about the monarchy and saw some beautiful architecture.

I highly recommend the guided tour if you're in the area.

We were so looking forward to visiting inside but location was closed due to not 1, not 2, but 3 colonies of swarming bees. The outside is beautiful none the less and it will give us a reason to return.

There are many things you can do in O’ahu, but learning about its history is a good one to me. The palace is well restored, the audio tour was interesting (even my four year old followed it), and the regulation of groups by time made it so it was never too crowded.

We learned a lot about the history and heritage of Hawaii. It is definitely the place to visit - strongly recommended. Self-guided tour audio/visual equipment for various languages is superb and very efficient, as well.
