“Best coffee we could find in Waikiki.”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

This small coffee shop definitely makes the best coffee in the area. We tried several others before we found it. In Australia we drink cappuccinos but quickly discovered that they are not as good anywhere else and it is best to drink whatever a country specialises in. So we switched to black brewed coffee and the "house blend", which is 30% Kona coffee at this coffee shop is great. Tasty, but not too strong.
We had it every day for a week or so.
The cakes, especially the oatie cakes are really good as well. And relatively healthy.
The view from the window tables is so interesting that we often stayed for quite a while just relaxing and watching all the activity in the main street and at the Moana Surfrider next door.
I highly recommend this coffee shop.

“Good Coffee”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

Finally found a decent cup of coffee that's not the size of an olympic pool that tastes as if they've only waved the coffee beans over the steaming water - it actually tasted like real coffee, as opposed to most coffee chains in the US.
Had great food too.

“Delicious coffee and pastries”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Quick, friendly staff. They remember your name after going just 2+ times. The coffee is delicious and the pastries are very fresh and there is a large variety. They also have granola and yogurts. There are some tables to sit and enjoy the breeze with the open windows. It's a great way to start the day with a hot cup of coffee, pastries and some people watching. It is right out front of the Westin Moana Surfrider hotel, which is where I stayed, so it was very convenient for me. If you're staying at other area hotels, it's worth the walk. You can also sit on the porch of the Westin and enjoy the rocking chairs and people watching while sipping your coffee. The coffee shop opens at 6am daily.

“Great coffee, service, breakfast items”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

I really enjoyed the scones and quiches. The coffee and atmosphere is great. The menu is limited so you probably won't want to go more than a day or two, but it is certainly worth a visit.

“Best coffee in Hawaii”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

I'm very fussy about my coffee and am happy I was able to find good coffee in Hawaii. My friends recommended this place so we ventured to the store which is located at the Westin Moana Surfrider resort.

The cafe is clean with a selection of light meals and snacks. All of the staff were so friendly and were extremely competent baristas who made great coffee and were very clever with their coffee art.

I'm lucky it was only a 15 minute walk from my hotel but I would have walked longer if I had to.
