I recently stayed at the Waikiki Parc Hotel during my visit in early November of 2009. The online reviews were pretty good on the most part but a few people had some negative things to say about this property. Let's clear this up.

Staff - some people mentioned that they were not friendly or indifferent at times. The truth is that all staff were extremely kind and quite friendly!

Noise - again, some people mentioned that there was a lot of noise outside that could be heard from this hotel. True, but good luck finding a hotel in Waikiki that doesn't have some outside noise. There was nothing exceptionally loud or bothersome other than the garbage trucks backing up in the morning.

The pictures on the internet site make this look like a "W" hotel. I wouldn't say that the Parc is quite there but the rooms are nice, (not too small like someone else had stated), have HD flat screens which is great as many hotels have flat screens but HD is rare. The furniture was modern and they have the most comfortable beds by Serta that I wish more hotels would use something like this! The bathrooms were fairly standard and would be nice if they see an upgrade soon.

The location is excellent and you can't get much closer to the beach unless you are willing to pay at least $75 more per night. The Parc is almost the exact middle of Waikiki. Nobu has a great menu which we enjoyed but I think more of the patrons were from across the street at the Helakulani as the prices are probably a little too steep fro the average guest that stays at the Parc. The ocean view rooms have no obstruction on higher floors.

Overall this hotel should meet or exceed any expectations for what they charge per night. I will stay there again.

Quiet hotel with small but functional rooms. The views are outstanding, especially if you have a room on the 23rd floor!! Comfy beds, with a small executive desk. Tile on the floor is a little tacky. Bathroom is small, but serves its purpose. Not as luxurious as you would expect from a boutique hotel. Staff are friendly, room service takes forever. Our room rate came with free breakfast, which was a decent continental sampler. The pool is empty, but pretty hip and toned people abound. I would not stay here with more than 2 people. Rooms are that small.

We stayed 4 nights at the Parc for our honeymoon and had a great time. Good location right behind the Halekulani and beside the Sheraton Waikiki. Free internet in the business center was a bonus touch. Just use your room key to access the room after hours. Also try out the outdoor movie viewing by the pool in the evenings - something unique. Excellent Nobu restaurant. Be sure to try it! All of Waikiki sights were within walking distance. Get the higher floor ocean view room to enjoy the hotel to the max. The room had a nice touch - Sharp LCD TV, branded bathroom fittings and amenities and nice bedsheets/pillowcase etc... free parking was an added bonus given the parking rates in the vicinity. Will stay again.

Stayed at hotel for a total of 6 nights. The rooms were nice (good TV). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The porters were great. We left some of our luggage at the hotel for 5 days while we went to maui (without charge). On the last day, they allowed us to park for free after checkout while we spent some time shopping. The only minus was the noise. The windows did not do a good job keeping out the city noise (car alarms, trucks backing up, etc.). I did not like that there was no Wi-fi in the rooms, only a wired connection. Although, there was free Wi-fi in the lobby and a computer room.

We booked 5 nights at this hotel at the end of Sept. When we checked in we were thoroughly disappointed with the size of the hotel room. My husband and I kept bumping into each other and the bathroom was even worse! Two people could not fit into the bathroom at the samw time! My husband talked with the people at the front desk and all they could do was keep saying how sorry they were. After staying there two nights we had had enough and checked out. We moved down the street to the Moana Surfrider which was a much nicer hotel, bigger rooms with better views. We were treated very well at the Moana Surfrider and will go back there but, we will NEVER go back to the Waikiki Parc and will not recommend it to anyone!

I stayed here with my mom for 4 nights.
We've stayed in Hiliton Waikiki, Sheraton Waikiki, Moana Surfrider and cond before. But this Hotel is absolutely No.1!!
Housekeeper leave her ALOHA message with chocolate, so we could feel safe while we were out.
And staff gave us welcome card, free breakfast tickets and free video ticket without our request.
This hotel is not so big, so staff can see every guests and room.
Located in front of the Waikiki beach and Waikiki beach walk. So good for beach and shopping.
If you visit to Waikiki, you should choose this Hotel!
