Communication was excellent between star of Honolulu and myself right from the start.
They called me to let me know that the bus that was to pick us up had been held up and would be a few minutes late, so kudos to them before we even get started!
We have had many bad experiences with having payed and not being picked up before, so I was already impressed with their professionalism.
The ship was a very good size with 4 different deck levels, I believe, so there was plenty of room to look at whales without being squashed in.
There is also a bar on the ship that serves cocktails and most popular alcoholic (and non alcoholic) drinks, so that’s a bonus.
Even though it was a big boat, it still moved around quite a bit, so i’m glad that we took some motion sickness tabs before coming aboard.
The buffet had a good choice of food to choose from and all the meat was very nicely cooked and tasted great!
Because it was so early in the whale migration season, we only saw about a dozen or so whale spouts and didn’t see any breaching at all but it was still a very pleasant couple of hours driving around the waters of Honolulu.
A must do activity when visiting Oahu between January and March.
