This was not a well advertised tour but it should be! The customer service was excellent. We saw whales, turtles, dolphins and many unique fish! A day well spent in Hawaii !!

Get on the boat. Sit in you seat. Get food in front of you. Listen to a guy singing. Feel the humidity since windows don't open. Yell when talking cause you crammed like sardines in there and its so loud..even though we paid for VIP. Sure didn't feel like VIP. Then watch some dancers in the middle aisle... oh if the guy at the table in front if you would sit down. See the island view from the ocean. Seen the tail of a whale. Then... oh Ya go back to the dock and go home. Pros of the trip.. hmmm give me a minute...that I've warned you not to waste your money.

Star of Honolulu sunset and dinner cruise worth it! Dinner was a great meal and entertainment and dancing fun. The photo ops were spectacular. We went on Valentines Day. My brother and sisterinlaw and myself. Romantic for them, me, liked the tour!

If you're a Japanese tourist who likes to disco dance at your dinner table, this is the place for you. We got a very weak Mai-Tai, a small sirloin steak and cold crab legs, all while being serenaded by an old hippy guitarist and his lady friend playing gawd-awful renditions of pop tunes. We then went on deck to watch sunset, saw a few whales spouting, then the tackiest of shows in Hawaii began. There were some cute and skillful Hawaiian dancers, but they soon left and disco started. The Japanese seemed to love it, but I was wondering if I could swim back to shore by then. Painfully lame!!! An entire evening gone for this?

A much better idea is to first rent a charter boat with a knowledgeable captain or hop on a whale watching tour and then upon returning, have a really good meal on shore.

It looks like morning cruises have more luck in seeing whales, because we went for lunch trip and we didn't see any. Yes, we were offered to go again, but we didn't want to spend another 2 hours on a same boat with very average service and bellow average food (don't take lunch when booking this cruise, not worthy) with bunch of bored people walking around ship to kill some time.
