Did the extra guided tour which takes approx. 90 minutes and makes the visit very worth while. Wanted to see the aviation museum as well but did not have enough time. if you want to see it all you need two days

We enjoyed walking through the ship. It's amazing to see all the different departments and their quarters. Anyone who is a history buff or interested in ships will enjoy this memorial. It took us about 1.5 hours to do the whole ship.

“one the the best guided tours”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

Tour Guide, Michael, was excellent, he was clear, paid attention to the participants and made sure all were able to hear and allowed ample time for questions. Very informative and I would say don't go to Pearl Harbor without going to the Missouri.

“Good and uncrowded”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

Getting here requires a shuttle bus ride from the Visitor Center, which runs every fifteen minutes or so. Don't expect clockwork, though. The ship is interesting and may be done on your own schedule or with a Park Service led tour.

This is an impressive ship and access is granted to many, but not all, areas. Food and drink are available on shore adjacent to the ship, as are restrooms. Lots of walking and up and down steep staircases, so not for everyone.
