Owner description: Preserving our History-Superstructure Preservation Project Currently, work is being done to our superstructure and is expected to be completed by September 2017. For safety reasons, our flying and navigation bridges will be closed during restoration. We appreciate your patience and understanding and your part in helping to preserve America’s last Battleship. The Battleship Missouri Memorial is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the summer months (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the rest of the year). General admission, which includes choice of an optional tour, is $25 per adult and $13 per child (4-12). Military, kama'aina (local resident) and school group pricing is available. The Battleship Missouri Memorial, located a mere ship's length from the USS Arizona Memorial, completes a historical visitor experience that begins with the "day of infamy" and the sinking of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor and ends with Imperial Japan's unconditional surrender aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay.Following an astounding career that spans five decades and three wars, from World War II to the Korean conflict to the Liberation of Kuwait, the "Mighty Mo" was decommissioned and donated to the USS Missouri Memorial Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which operates the battleship as a historic attraction and memorial. The Association oversees her care and preservation with the support of visitors, memberships, grants and the generosity of donors.

We weren't expecting to see much at the USS Missouri. Most of these type of museums seem to have so much blocked off that you can't really see anything. We were able to tour so much more of the USS Missouri than we expected and really enjoyed it! We had a tour guide who was extremely knowledgable who really added to our tour of the USS Missouri.

It's only a short bus ride to visit and experience the USS Missouri. In my humble opinion, it would be a travesty to skip it. I especially enjoyed seeing and learning about the sight of the signing of the Armistice which ended the war in the Pacific.

This is a regular spot for me and my wife to visit whenever we're in Oahu. As a Marine, I was stationed on the USS Wisconsin (sister ship of the USS MIssouri) in the late 80s/early 90s and I love taking the trip back in time roaming the halls of this great ship. The crew on the USS Missouri have done a great job keeping her shipshape. The restoration has been excellent and the crew and guides do a terrific job explaining all the details of the ship and its storied history. If you are ever visiting the USS Arizona Memorial, take some time and jump onto the free shuttle over to the USS Missouri...you won't regret it!! (Not to mention that there is also the USS Oklahoma Memorial right outside the USS Missouri (right where the bus drops you off) so its like getting a two for one deal.

Had a Wonderful time exploring the ship once we levered ourselves away from the drone who purported to be a guide. Lots of history on the ship, and not too bad a place to visit. Just don't get stung by the exorbitant price of the group photo the place wants you to buy. If they reduced the price by 50% there would be a Lot more people buy the photo.
