This moment is provided for us all to remember the tragic loss of those who fought in WWII. To understand the tragedy and the reverence given to the men who lost their lives for their country, it is quiet awe inspiring to realise that men and women volunteer their services in the defence and civil to allow us all to see this memorial. It is absolutely worth the visit. Come early 7am is the place gets really crowded with visitors. Do not come after 3pm as the last visit shuts down shortly thereafter.
