We were informed that the Arizona Memorial will be closed until March 2019. While that disappointed us being there was a touching experience. I am curious that with the beautiful weather, why was no work was being done on the Memorial, nor was construction equipment visible. Be aware until March 2019 it's just a drive past the Memorial. We also flew over it on a helicopter tour.

Very sad that you can no longer go on the memorial. Walking on there made your hair stand on the back of your neck. It was very moving. Still sad but don’t get the same feeling. Feel more disconnected.

The film was amazing but that is where it ended. We were hurded onto a ferry driven around the site then taken back to the wharf.
No time for reflection, to give our thanks for the lives that were sacrificed for our freedom. Fixing the dock seems to be a very slow process, is it because it has really become a money making machine with how many can we push through.

We visited Pearl Harbor on Veterans Day, because of the repair of the dock at the Memorial, the USS Arizona tour is a boat tour. It was a wonderful adjustment during the repair. We arrived before 09:00 without reservations but they do have walk up tickets. The tour is about one hour, first a 30 minute movie then a boat tour of the harbor going past the Arizona. The entire visit is wonderful.

Seeing this historical memorial to all who were lost on 12/7/41- was an amazing tribute and experience. The boat went all around the Arizona memorial and to the Missouri.

Although the Memorial is closed right now to people actually boarding it, the boat ride went right up to it. The volunteer docent was great, super knowledgable and you really got a great sense of the whole battle and Memorial. The Navy sailors drove the boat well and carefully allowed both sides of the seated passengers to see all of it as well as the USS Missouri.

It was such an amazing thing to see and you could almost feel the emotions running through your body as you heard the story of Pearl Harbor again. Being there made everything so real. Very emotional feeling to lots of us!

The Arizona landing was not available so we had to go by it on the boat which was still OK. Well worth a visit

I so enjoyed visiting here. It truly gave me a feeling of what actually happened that day. We only got to ride around the memorial as it is closed due to a renovation And would have loved to go inside. I still enjoyed it though.
