Instead of paying lots of money to tour operators we tried to go there by ourselves with an hope to find an USS Arizona tour assuming we would get a ticket for after a couple of hours as advertised. Once we arrived we were advised that we would be there 5.30 in the morning to find ticket. This does not make sense. They suspended afternoon tours because of budget cut. It is difficult to understand that how come this can happen for such an important place in US history.

Everyone who goes to Hawaii should go to see the USS Arizona Memorial. It's very moving to be standing there seeing the ship underneath the water with the oil still leaking up and thinking about all the brave men who gave up their lives for our freedom. Definitely a must see!

A very moving experience. Very well laid out and organised, unfortunately our tour didn't give quite long enough to include the submarine as well. If we did the museum and the memorial to arizona. But some of our tour party did submarine first then couldn't fit in the museum, which was a real shame. The audio is a must as you get a real feel for the history. Pearl harbour was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii and we would recommend it to everyone.

We thought that the service provided here and the way it was operated was very professional. We found this memorial to be a very moving and educational experience.

You can't help but feel for all those who died on board and nearby a memory that stays with you well after you leave.
