“Very moving tribute”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We loved being able to visit the memorial. We were disappointed that we couldn't stay on the memorial for a longer time. We were also disappointed in the lack of respect of the others who were there with us. But it is a beautiful and fitting memorial.

“Good but sobering experience”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

The memorials are very well done and worth a visit, as well as being a great reminder what our troops have sacrificed throughout history. Clean facilities and knowledgeable staff are available in several different areas. Just a note, bags of any kind are not permitted on the premises. No purses, camera bags etc. You will have to pay to check them at the door.

“Not to be missed by any of the world's people”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

This is a beautiful and poignant memorial to the military lives innocently lost back on December 7, 1941. Very well done. The memorial is beautiful. The outline and projections from the water of the battleship sunk, the hundreds of lives entombed within, and the oil still leaking 71 years later has a sobering affect.

“A fittingly solemn tribute to those who served and perished.”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

I don't feel I can add anything to all that's already been said about this memorial. It is the #1 place to visit on Oahu, as it sould be. Shame on any American who visits the island for more than a few days and doesn't stop, even briefly, to honor our war dead in this unprovoked attack that plunged us into war.

“History in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Respectful treatment for those sacrificing their lives during that fateful attack, and a good reminder to remain vigilant. Book early to ensure you have space; time at the ship is short but sufficient.
