Second storey restaurant presents a wide-ranging menu with numerous seafood options. Original interpretations, but all expertly prepared. Good view, relatively quiet, with highly trained and efficient wait staff. One of the most extensive wine lists in town. A really, really satisfying experience.
Bar a floor above is always hopping; can have a meal there as well.
Truly a major jewel in Newport's restaurant scene.

We stopped in for a drink before dinner and the bar was full but they still found some seats for us u til some stools opened up. The bartender mixed a good drink and was very pleasant. Perfect!

Our first visit and our second favorite spot of 6 RI restaurants we tried during Newport Restaurant Week (NRW); recent move to RI.

It's a good space and lively scene. Expect dinner reservations are a must. Service was good in spite of tight quarters and a packed house.

We had cocktails - decent and at $13. Appetizers were a "stuffie" and green salad. Entrees were monkfish (excellent!) and lamb (similar to a ragu but the lamb had completely disintegrated - so "good"). Two large desserts followed however the chocolate cake was HUGE and a dense brownie (requiring a knife to cut).

So in spite of some issues - we liked it and will return...

Damages were $140 including tip but as it was NRW - prices were lower.

Came with work friends for dinner during Newport Restaurant Week. They open at 5 and we made the earliest reservation possible for dinner after work. We were the first patrons in the door and had the top floor to ourselves for at least thirty minutes. The Restaurant Week menu was really good. I had the calamari appetizer, a clam pasta dish, and the banana bread pudding. Everything was very good and fresh. My friends also enjoyed their meals. Service was very good and we were offered house made bread several times. I would come back again.

For our final night of our brief Newport getaway we visited Fluke on the advice of a friend. Located on busy and charming Bowen’s wharf, Fluke offers a soothing respite from a bustling day of shopping or mansion touring with a refined but not at all stuffy ambience. Top notch service and impeccably timed delivery of drinks and courses made the meal outstanding. Our dishes were very good, made with high quality ingredients, nicely plated and served at the perfect temperature.
