If you want a great and different breakfast in Newport, this is the place to go. Easy walk from the Harbor. Good wait staff. Lots of locals - telling you it is a place to try.

This was one our second favorite restaurant in Newport, RI. We went on a Sunday for brunch and went away very satisfied. I had the Wootens Sweetbread French Toast servedwith blueberries, cranberries and raspberries, topped with whipped cream and walnuts with homemade maple pecan butter my wife had the whole grain pancakes topped w/ fresh blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and sliced almonds and yogurt 8.50. We shared a side order of sausage and pan fried potatoes. We were stuffed and impressed. As one person said - get there early(before 9am) or you' ll have to wait longer. The staff was super!

Cozy place that always seems full, we managed to get a table in the quiet back room all by ourselves! We had good service the whole time, contrary to many other reviewers. Had sweetbread French toast that came with homemade maple pecan butter - amazing!! Home fries were pretty good also. My husband got the Lady Leah omelet with Portuguese bread and this was excellent as well. Prices were not bad at all. Overall great find

Menu is urge with tons of options for vegetarians!
Atmosphere is very cozy and the soundtrack was very enjoyable. My food was excellent and very well presented. 5 minutes from Downtown Newport but far from the tourists!

I was very disappointed with the food and the service. After reading the reviews, this was a must go to on our list. I had the French toast and it was flat and dry. We sat at the bar and watched the food pile up in the pass thru waiting to be served. I would not go back.
