Made a reservation through Open Table the day before for a Friday night. The only reason I decided to take a chance on this restaurant after reading some of the reviews, was that my college age daughter had a couple of out of town guests who wanted to experience Newport. We arrived at the restaurant which was not busy, for our 7pm reservation. We sat outside in front of the dock. The waitress was pleasant and cheerful when she showed up which was only sporadically throughout the meal. The food was very mediocre, fried everything. The fish in the fish and chips was completely tasteless. The fried clams were good, the calamari okay. The teens had ordered spicy food and the waitress never checked back to re-fill much needed water. My husband ordered a beer which was served warm in a plastic cup, likewise for my "glass" of wine. The next day I noticed that my reservation had been "cancelled" through Open Table by the restaurant , I guess we weren't really there, and definitely will give it a miss in the future.
